Android Ugliness is Beautiful

There’s a bit of a laugh going on about Fugly Android, a tumblr website that highlights some of the ugly customizations available to Android. The sights aren’t pretty, but I’d like to remind everyone of something fairly obvious: That’s the way those people want THEIR device to look.

That’s why people love Android: it doesn’t tell them how their device should look; it tells them how to make their device look a way appealing to their own desires.

There are plenty of crap results by people with bad taste, but that’s just what happens when people with bad taste get to make decisions for themselves. Why should they be forced to have excellent taste like me if that’s not what makes them happy?

Anyway, here’s a look at what’s on my screen. come to think of it…this might be considered ugly, too. :)
